Down the TBR Hole #7

HAPPY SATURDAY LOVES! Let’s get into it….

This was started by Lia from Lost In A Story and instructions are:

Anyway, it works like this:

  • Go to your goodreads to-read shelf.
  • Order on ascending date added.
  • Take the first 5 (or 10 if you’re feeling adventurous) books
  • Read the synopses of the books
  • Decide: keep it or should it go?

The fact that I (you?) will be repeating this process every week means that I have to keep track of where I ended and where I’m going to continue. E.g. in week one I do book 1 – 5, in week two book 6 – 10, and so on, until I’ve filtered out my entire TBR.

My TBR Selections for this week are…

The Distance Between Lost and Found by Kathryn Holmes
While this does sound interesting, I just don’t think it is something that I would get to right away. I think this would be much better suited for me when I was in high school or early college.

Final Verdict: It goes.

Ready Player One by Ernest Cline
Part of me says: I won’t read this, it is not my usual thing to pick up. But then part of me says: it has so many good reviews and it does sound interesting.

Final Verdict: It stays.

The Knife of Never Letting Go (Chaos Walking Trilogy #1) by Patrick Ness
I have heard Patrick Ness’ name all over booktube. I am interested in trying something of his. I think I might keep this one on my list.

Final Verdict: It Stays.

The Golden Braid by Melanie Dickerson
The summary sounds good but I just don’t know. I think that I may have to pass. I just don’t see myself reading this anytime soon.

Final Verdict: It goes.

The 5th Wave (The 5th Wave #1) by Rick Yancey
Let me just go ahead and say that I will not read this. It sounds like it could be good, but I just don’t seem it happening.

Final Verdict: It goes.

And there you have it! Thanks for reading!
